HAI hosted Archtoberfest at Hangar 24 Brewery!
Higginson Architects (HAI) proudly hosted this year’s American Institute of Architects Inland California Chapter (AIAIC) Archtoberfest! This year's annual October gathering of architects was held at the new Hangar 24 Brewery restaurant in the Canyon Crest Town Center. The event brought together architects from across the region to celebrate architecture, design, and community, all within the vibrant and inviting setting of the brewery.
The brewery, with its warm atmosphere and stylish design—crafted in part recently by HAI—was the perfect venue for this lively event. Attendees enjoyed Hangar 24’s signature craft beers, which were paired with a delicious array of food, creating a welcoming and relaxed environment for networking and conversations. The blend of great beer, tasty food, and architecture-focused dialogue made the event a unique experience.
The live entertainment stage added to the festive ambiance, providing a backdrop of music that enhanced the social atmosphere, allowing architects to mingle while enjoying the best of what Hangar 24 has to offer. Archtoberfest was a great success, filled with discussions about emerging trends in architecture, innovative design solutions, and the importance of community in shaping spaces.
What is "Archtoberfest"?!
Back in 2013, David Higginson, Founder of HAI, whimsically coined the term "Archtoberfest" as a way to combine his love for architecture with the festive spirit of Octoberfest. What started as a lighthearted name for a small gathering of architects, the term Archtoberfest has grown, and since has been used and celebrated annually by architects across the country. The term has taken on a life of its own, with Archtoberfest now representing a time when professionals in the architectural community come together to discuss trends, share ideas, and enjoy camaraderie in a relaxed, social setting.
